What is Reiki?
The laying on of hands is an ancient healing system which taps into the wisdom of our higher consciousness (Rei) and uses the divine life energy of the universe (ki). It has been understood by many as the oneness of all that exists, that unconditional love that is filled with compassion, truth and harmony.
What is Prana?
Prana is the life energy, the life force which keeps the body alive.
What is Pranic Healing?
Pranic Healing is an ancient science and healing modality that uses the life force energy to heal the whole physical body. It is a system for cleansing and energizing the physical body as well as the human psyche. The law of self recovery states that the body is capable of healing itself at a certain rate. The healer assists this process by raising the vibration, the frequency of the client’s body to accelerate the biochemical reactions involved in the natural process of the body’s healing.
Cleansing is required to remove the diseased energy in the body or the affected parts and to remove blockages in the energy channels. It is also necessary for the devitalized part to absorb prana for rebalancing.
Energizing which follows cleansing is the transference of prana to the client. The healer can project prana to the client through Reiki also known as therapeutic touch and the laying on of hands.
